Hello everyone!
I am excited to share that I have been accepted into a faculty-led study abroad program in Taipei, Taiwan through Fresno State! As a first-year student in the School Psychology Master’s program, this opportunity is especially meaningful to me. It will allow me to gain a global perspective on education services, including academic, behavioral, social, and emotional support systems.
During my time in Taiwan, I will:
- Present education intervention projects
- Learn from local psychologists
- Take cultural classes
- Visit elementary and secondary schools to study education services in Chinese schools
- Explore how cultural competence and evidence-based practices shape education globally
This experience will be invaluable for my future career in school psychology, helping me develop the skills and cultural awareness needed to support diverse students. However, I need your support to make this dream a reality. To make this trip possible, I am seeking support to cover the costs of travel expenses, accommodations, program fees, food, and other expenses.
