Support Destiny Kicking Cancers Butt

My name is Ahna, and in Hawaii where I was born- we have our blood family, then we have our extended Ohana: friends that become family over time and through shared lives.

I’ve started this for one of my “sisters” Destiny. Destiny has been a light since the day I met her- always quick to make you laugh, and quicker to make you smile. She has helped show me how to be a better person, just by being her kind, loving self.

One year ago I stood beside Destiny as her bridesmaid, as she married another one of my friends-turned family:Alex.

Today Destiny, with Alex and their daughter ‘Iolana beside her- has begun the battle against stage 4 colon cancer. After 3 tumor removals and a full hysterectomy, she is now starting what will be months of Chemotherapy. We all know how expensive not just our healthcare is, but life in general. And when your body needs the right, healthy things- it gets that much more expensive.

Please help me raise funds so that Destiny can explore some holistic/alternative treatments, and be able to afford healthy food and care for not just her, but ‘Iolana and Alex as well. Lets ALL stand beside and behind them through this. As Ohana does.
