Hello, as some of you may know, Desmond has been diagnosed with CKD (Chronic Kidney Disease) stage 5. He has been on dialysis since Feb 2023. Desmond goes to dialysis 3 times a week until they find him a kidney donor. He is 29 years young with a 4-year-old daughter. Due to his condition, he is unable to work. As you can imagine, it has been a challenge being able to provide for his family. While Desmond is currently fighting battles against his health issues, he still manages to try and better himself and his future. He is currently a full-time, Grade A student at Carrington College.
We are asking the community, family, and friends for a hand. We need to get Desmond a vehicle so he can continue to go to his appointments for his dialysis treatments, school internship, and other appointments regarding his medical condition. One of the requirements for a kidney is to have a home or a room post-op. Unfortunately, Desmond is unable to meet that requirement as he and his family are currently out of a home. Between some medical bills, personal bills, his daughter’s expenses, new housing, and other expenses, we are doing our best to handle these issues but are at a dead end. We are asking the community for help. We know it takes a village. Any donations, big or small, even prayers, would be greatly appreciated! We have hope! He is also looking for a possible living donor for a kidney; his blood type is B Negative. Thank you for your time! Much love!
