"Quick update: as I round the corner for my last week of radiation treatments, I have to say it was not a cake walk for me, as I was having a hard time with certain foods, but now that I’m almost done I think I have it under control. Leave it to me to figure it out at the end‍! I’m excited to get back to work for the holiday season. It has not been easy for me to sit still, but I’m hoping I have the energy to do so. Once again thank you to everyone near and far for your ongoing love and support. Love you all!!!!"

November update from Des:

"Quick update!!! I’m officially one week into radiation treatments, 4more to go. Driving to uvm everyday isn’t ideal, but it’s what I have to do. Thanks to everyone for the constant prayers and donations. It’s extremely helpful while I will be out of work for another month or so. All my love!!!"

"For those of you who have been curious what I’m going through. Here’s a brief update. I recently got diagnosed with cancer and had to undergo a surgery that requires me to take time off to heal for a month or so while I recover. Any support that you are able to give would be greatly appreciated. With love Desiree. "

Desiree Simpson needs our support as sudden and unforeseen medical expenses, along with the recovery process, have left her unable to work for the next couple of months.

If you know Desiree, you know she is one of the strongest, most caring humans you could ever meet. There is no mountain too tall or challenge too tough for her beautiful soul to conquer. She is the perfect example of a strong, supportive friend—always showing up with wisdom, laughter, a hug, or simply by being there when you need her most.

Many of us are used to seeing her buzzing around with her beautiful smile —serving, pouring delicious drinks, and creating joyful memories wherever she goes. Now, as she focuses on healing, it’s our turn to rally around her.

We are hoping to provide Desiree with some financial relief during this difficult time, helping cover medical costs and everyday living expenses while she recovers.

Contributions, big or small, will make a meaningful difference and give her the peace of mind she needs to focus on getting better.
