On Friday, Nov 7th at 6 AM on 15th Street and Baseline, Phoenix, while trying to cross the street, Desiree B. Uribe (20) was trying to catch the bus for training to be a medical assistant. She was hit and run by an unidentified vehicle that left her unconscious with brain injuries and numerous injuries to her body. She has been in the hospital, both in the ICU and acute care, since then. She is slowly showing signs of improvement; however, she has a long way to go! She will need additional services and therapy to get her where she needs to be to complete her healing. Her grandpa ( Pete) is needing assistance with anything that might help her healing as both parents are deceased. Any amount will help this family in need.
