Support Desiree's Battle Against Cancer

On June 5, 2024, Desiree was diagnosed with Squamous Cell Carcinoma of the tongue. This young mother and wife has a long and arduous battle ahead of her. Treatment for this type of Cancer will include her needing to relearn to talk and eat, as well as long hospital stays. Desiree is a bright and beautiful soul and is the glue that holds her family together. To say this is devastating news is a massive understatement. They have already started to receive news about tests that insurance will not cover. With such a difficult recovery and fight ahead of them, they are looking at serious financial hardship.

I started this Go Fund Me in hopes of helping them with medical costs, travel costs, child care costs, and the loss of work and income. I have never known a family more deserving of a community to rally around and lift them up.

Today Des is having her first scans. They are hoping to is local to her tongue only. Please keep them in your thoughts, the anxiety and stress is unimaginable and they need all the positive energy.
