My name is Rachel Miller. I am raising money for our youngest daughter, Desiree Caudill, who was recently diagnosed with breast cancer. She has been through so much this past year. She has had two heart attacks that required stents and is dealing with Diabetes. Now on top of that she was just diagnosed with an aggressive type of Breast Cancer. As you can probably imagine, she has and will continue to have enormous medical bills for all the testing, chemotherapy, surgery, and income loss that she needs help with and some that she has already had. She is only 39 years old and has 2 children. She is a very loving mother, wife, daughter, sister, aunt, niece, cousin, and friend.
She works for one of the school districts in San Antonio, Texas, which does not have a short-term disability plan to help with any income loss she is incurring during all of her treatments and recovery.
We are helping as much as we can with some of these expenses, but she could certainly use a little help from family and friends at this time. So, I am asking that anyone who can or would like to contribute to this fund for her, please consider it.
No amount is too small. Every penny will be turned over to her to help her in whatever way she needs to get through this very difficult battle she is facing. If you know someone who has gone through any type of cancer, please consider making a donation in honor of them.
Our family motto is like many others: “NO ONE FIGHTS ALONE.” Let’s show her that there is a whole village here to help her.
Thank you in advance for anything you can do.
