Desirae is a 34-year-old loving wife and devoted mother to two beautiful little girls, ages 5 and 7. She is a Hodgkin’s lymphoma survivor (2015–2016), but her fight didn’t end when cancer treatment did. Over the past 11 years, she has continued to face ongoing and complex medical challenges. Recently, Desirae endured six weeks of severe medical complications, including nearly a month in the hospital. Doctors are currently evaluating her for Hereditary Coproporphyria (HCP) and Acute Intermittent Porphyria (AIP), both rare and serious conditions. During this time, her gallbladder had to be removed, and she experienced dangerous electrolyte imbalances that led to heart-related complications. Beyond the physical toll, the emotional weight has been heavy. After more than a decade of medical battles — beginning just 10 months after losing her father to cancer — Desirae is now also facing PTSD and anxiety stemming from years of illness and uncertainty.

The financial burden on Desirae’s family has become overwhelming. Her husband is a small business owner, but he has been unable to work while caring for Desirae and their daughters. With no health insurance, the mounting and ever-increasing medical bills, hospital stays, treatments, and time away from work have created a crisis for their family. We are not asking for a handout — only a helping hand during an incredibly difficult season.
