Desi Craig, a former student of both Colleen Koscielniak Brown and Linda Aavang, is struggling with monthly expenses. Desi has worked a full time job in the past, but due to the progressive nature of her cerebral palsy she is unable to work. At this time she is completely wheel chair bound and has lost partial function of her hands. With recent decreases in funding and available resources, along with a sharp increase in the cost of medicine, food, utilities and basic supplies; Desi's monthly expenses exceed her income. She wants to continue to live independently during this time of flux in her financial situation. We are setting up this fund to help Desi through this difficult time.
