Support Derrick's Heart Surgery Recovery

Good day, My name is Jeff Gentry. I am putting this out here on GoFundMe for my son Derrick Gentry 26. On Friday, May 24th he went to the emergency room with a concern of" something is not right". After examining him, it was determined that he had a tear in his aorta. He was then transported by ambulance to one of the major medical centers in our area where a team was standing by to take him into emergency open heart surgery. He underwent 7 hours of surgery to repair the tear in his aorta. During this they also had to replace his aortic valve with a mechanical one. The surgery was successful and he now will be in the hospital for a minimum of 7 days and afterwards 6 weeks for his chest bone to heal from the surgery. I am setting this up to assist with his medical bills and any other financial obligations that he may incur during this time.
