Sunday, April 13th, Derick had a heart attack at 13 years old while riding bikes with his friends. He was given CPR for 30 minutes and shocked 4 times by the AED just to get his heart started again. This beautiful boy went from "We don't know how long he went without oxygen."

To "Sorry kid, no sports or dirt bikes for maybe a year."
