Help My Family Rebuild After Hurricane Melissa

My name is Deria Forbes, and I am from Western Jamaica, Petersfield, Westmoreland to be exact. My family and I have been devastated by the impact of Hurricane Melissa, a storm that has left our community in ruins.

Members of my family have been left homeless, with our homes and belongings completely destroyed by the hurricane. The devastation has been overwhelming; animals have died, roads are impassable, and heartbreakingly, some of our family members are still unaccounted for.

We are doing our best to stay strong, but the reality is that we’ve lost a lot! At this time, we are seeking any help or support to get back on our feet.

Every contribution, no matter how small, will make a huge difference in helping us start over and bring some relief to our family during this painful time.

Thank you so much for your kindness, generosity, and prayers.

Your support truly means the world to us.
