We are immensely saddened by the loss of Derek Caliendo, a beloved husband, father, friend and coworker. Derek passed away last week, after a short and unexpected battle with previously undiagnosed colon cancer.

Derek was a model father, always involved with his children's activities whether it be coaching his daughter's track team, or helping out on his son's baseball team. He was always the first to volunteer at any school function. He was a loving and supportive husband to Kristin, a pillar of the family.

To his friends, Derek was the hero that helped them get their brakes fixed or change unreachable light bulbs. He was always there to lend a hand. As a manager, Derek cared deeply for his fellow employees and had a sincere desire to help them succeed in their jobs and in their lives. Derek’s life was a testament to love, faith, and generosity. He gave fully, lived joyfully, and inspired all who knew him. His presence was a gift, and his legacy will live on in the hearts of those he leaves behind.
