Our family friend Derek lost his home and everything in it to a devastating fire lastnight. He was thankfully not home at the time (he was out plowing overnight for work ) and we are so grateful he is safe. But while he wasn’t physically hurt, he lost everything he had.

Anyone who knows Derek knows he is one of the kindest, most dependable people you could ever meet. He has always shown up for our family without hesitation, including helping us empty our grandmother’s apartment when she passed away. He gives his time and energy freely and never asks for anything in return. Our kids know him as Princess and most of us know him as "Derek The Neighbor."❤️

Derek is the type of person who would never ask for help himself, which is exactly why we are stepping in to ask on his behalf. He truly deserves this support during this incredibly difficult time.

Funds raised will go toward purchasing a camper for him to live in and helping him replace basic essentials as he rebuilds his life.
