I’m reaching out today with a heavy heart and a humble request for help. Recently, my dad was involved in a freak accident that has left our family pretty shaken and overwhelmed. While attending my little sister’s softball practice, my dad was unexpectedly struck in the face by a line-drive softball. The impact was devastating. He suffered multiple facial fractures, including a shattered cheekbone, broken sinus bones, and severe damage to the tiny, delicate bones above his cheek. It’s hard to put into words how frightening it was to see someone you love in so much pain and know there’s nothing you can do in that moment to stop it.

Since the injury, my dad will undergo extensive medical evaluation and is now facing a long road to recovery. He will require reconstructive surgery, multiple specialist visits, and a significant amount of time off work. The medical bills are already piling up, and unfortunately, insurance will not cover the full extent of the care he needs. The financial stress is taking a toll on our family, especially with the uncertainty ahead.
