On July 9, 2025, our dear friend and family member, Derek Palmer, suffered a massive stroke. More than half his body is paralyzed. He is unable to sit up on his own, even in a wheelchair. He's confined to his bed at a skilled nursing facility. Despite these obstacles, Derek remains strong and hopeful. Thankfully, he's receiving intensive physical therapy, steady care and is surrounded by a loving community of family and friends who visit him regularly. Although he makes progress each day, his journey will take time.

For those who know him, Derek is a kind, caring, creative soul. He pours his heart into making music, painting, and writing stories, which he shares generously. Derek needs our help to get back to doing what he loves most. Every donation will go directly toward his medical support, therapies and essential needs during this time.
