Support Derek Jacobson's Road to Recovery

Hi everyone my name is Teenae Jacobson. On Saturday May 11th, 2024 I found my husband Derek Jacobson unresponsive on my living room floor. After extensive test and 5 days on life support it has been determined that because of Derek's extremely low blood sugar he had a stroke. He also has non alcoholic cirrhosis and pneumonia that he is fighting as well. He is currently unable to see or speak, But can recognize voices, nods his head, smile, wave and say hi. He has a very long battle ahead of him. Derek was a finance manager at a dealership and had just recently switched companies for a better opportunity. His new job started this Monday this happened last Saturday. Derek currently doesn't have short term disability which he had at his last employer. I am asking for any donations to help with bills and expenses while he recovers. He's going to need around the clock care and rehabilitation and I'm unable to work and take care of him and our 4 kids at home. Update. We are in a regular room today May 18th. He's saying full sentences and remembering what happened to him. He wants to go home and get out of bed and says he's in the worst pain. His youngest daughter got to see him today and it brought the biggest smile on his face. He said her name, her nickname, winked and smiled at her and said I love and miss you. So much progress in a week from being on life support. My god is amazing. Thanks again for your continued love and support.
