On Tuesday, June 10th, my cousin, Derek Demeneghi was involved in a severe motorcycle accident, colliding head-on with an SUV. As a result, he has sustained significant trauma to his body and is currently under sedation to manage his pain and anxiety as he undergoes multiple surgeries to address his extensive injuries. Within the span of less than a week, Derek has already undergone over five surgeries, with more surgeries still pending to address the extensive damage he has sustained. The road to recovery for Derek and his family will be long and challenging. Despite the difficult circumstances, we remain hopeful and have faith that Derek will emerge from this trying situation.Derek is a resilient and optimistic individual, known for brightening up any room with his positive spirit. We are grateful for any assistance and blessings that come our way during this challenging time.
