Help Derek’s Eagle Scout Project at St. Andrew church

My name is Derek Bednarz and I am from Troop 230 in Yardley, Pennsylvania. I am currently working on my Eagle Scout project and am currently accepting donations to assist funding my project.

What my project aims to do is take a garden at my local church (St. Andrew in Newtown), that currently lies in dishevelment and does not honor the area, and design and build new structures for the area that better honor the church and mourners who use the garden.

Specifically, I will be building a retaining wall around the statue of Mother Mary, creating a kneeler for more intimate mourning, and creating a walkway with pavers to increase safety/stability around the garden. The total cost of this project is approximately $1,000.

Any donation to this GoFundMe helps and will be greatly appreciated. These funds will go directly to the project, and any excess will be donated to the church.
