Support Derek & Ashley's Snowflake Journey

Infertility is a painful battle. One that often leaves its sufferers asking why, and looking to God for some purpose in the deep heartache. As Pastor Derek and Ashley have sought the Lord for His purpose in their struggle, and opened themselves to His plan for their family, God showed them how He is going to give life and love not only to them, but also to His little ones still waiting for their chance. Snowflake babies.

Modern medicine has allowed many to have their chance at a family through IVF. Some parents make the decision that their family is complete before using all of their embryos. Many of these embryos are stored in a frozen state, just like Snowflakes. And many parents have chosen to make their Snowflakes adoptable to other couples who are unable to have any of their own.

Pastor Derek and Ashley have chosen to allow God to use their circumstances to offer a chance at life to these little Snowflake babies. A beautiful act of love that will touch the lives of many.

As you might imagine, the process from frozen embryo to beautiful baby is a costly one. One that is largely not cot covered by health insurance. And because of the unusual circumstances, traditional tax incentives for adoptive parents do not apply.
