Please Support Deputy Briggs' Family

Greetings Sonoma County Sheriff's Office family and supporters,

Deputy Garrett Briggs and his wife had their second child on January 23, 2021.  The family recently returned home after learning their daughter was diagnosed with Wieacker Wolff Syndrome, which is a very rare and severely disabling, genetic disorder.   The family has a long road ahead in caring for their child and her medical needs.

Members of the Sonoma County DSA began in-house fundraising and the DSA has created a GoFundMe campaign to help the Briggs family get through this challenging time.   The family has already spent two weeks in Oakland at Kaiser Hospital and it's clear the cost of meals, lodging and transportation is going to add up very quickly.   Please help if you can!

For information about this disorder, please click here -> Wieacker Syndrome Info

Deputy Briggs and family, you are in our prayers.

On behalf of the the Briggs' family and our Association members, thank you for your consideration.
