Hello,

My name is Priela Ogunmola, and this year I wanted to do something a bit different for my birthday and the holidays. November is not only the month of my birthday, but also a season primarily about gratitude, giving back, and being thankful. As I thought about celebrating the holidays and my birthday this year, I began to reflect on the ways I’ve been so blessed and how I could give back and contribute to the community, rather than just receiving gifts.

This month and throughout the end of this year, I have decided to start a fundraiser based on something that I’m very passionate about: children and, as an aspiring orthodontist, dental care. That is why I’ve decided to dedicate this fundraiser to helping children receive proper dental care at the Total Parental Guidance Orphanage, located in Ibadan, Nigeria. The funds will help by directly paying for the children to receive teeth cleanings and cavity repairs.

I reflect on how blessed I have been to not have to worry about my dental health, but many kids are not able to get basic checkups, and I want to help resolve that in any way that I can. With your support, we can provide free checkups, teeth cleanings, and even cavity fills to help bring brighter, more confident smiles and better health to children in need.
