Support Dennis's Recovery and Expenses

Hi, I'm Dennis. Last Friday, March 21st, around 6 pm, I got injured at the back of my semi-truck. I was doing routine stuff I've done thousands of times over the past 30 years. I pulled out a knob that activates the slide mechanism on the trailer, and I lost grip and fell backward into the trailer behind me. I hit the trailer as I was fighting to get my balance back, and I bounced off the trailer, then twisted my left knee and fell to the ground on top of my left shoulder. I was unable to get back up and had to get an ambulance to take me to the hospital ER. I found out that I had fractured my shoulder blade, as you can see in the picture, and twisted or sprained my knee. I can walk slowly with the knee immobilizer. The orthopedic surgeon has advised against surgery, saying it really wasn't necessary, and to let it heal for 8 to 12 weeks.
I'm thinking about trying to prevent my truck from being taken away from me to finish paying off in June 2026. Plus, any potential extra therapy I may have to take time off for. I can't work until I get medical clearance and my company is satisfied with my recovery. I'm going to ask for some light work from my company that I work for now to pay for motel and meals.
I'm fundraising to cover my living expenses and prevent my truck from being taken away while I recover from my injuries.
