If you've ever had the privilege of knowing Dennis, you know he's the kind of person who would do anything for the people he loves. He's an incredible dad, a proud papa, and someone who has always put his family before himself. He has spent his life helping others without ever asking for anything in return. Now, he's the one who needs our help as he faces the biggest fight of his life.

Dennis has been battling severe heart failure and has recently been transferred to a specialized hospital where a team of doctors is evaluating him for advanced heart failure treatment. Before any decisions can be made, he'll undergo extensive testing to determine whether he's a candidate for an LVAD (Left Ventricular Assist Device) and, ultimately, a heart transplant.

Our hope is that Dennis will be strong enough to undergo the major surgery required to implant an LVAD. This mechanical heart pump helps the heart circulate blood and can serve as a bridge to a heart transplant, giving him the opportunity to continue fighting while waiting for a donor heart. If he's approved after testing, the next step will be being placed on the heart transplant waiting list.

This journey is only beginning, and while we're holding onto hope, we know it will be a long road filled with hospital stays, surgeries, countless appointments, and many unknowns.
