Support Dennis & Shannon

Donation protected

As many of you have heard, my brother and his wife, Shannon, had to evacuate on Tuesday night. Their home in Altadena, Shannon's childhood home, is the safe space where she raised her eldest son, Colin, and where she and Dennis had hoped to do the same for their youngest son, Blake. This afternoon, they received confirmation that they had lost their family home to the Eaton Canyon fire, a home they were renting from Shannon's mother, who also lived with them.

Like many people in Southern California, we now have four people we love dearly who have no home. As they figure out their next steps and how to cope and move forward with this devastating loss, I'm asking for your help; no amount is too small.

These beautiful souls need our love and support, and they've never hesitated to give it to those they call friends or family. Shannon, with her big heart, is known for offering to help neighbors, friends, and family in need. My Kuya Dennis is my emotional support human, and everyone adores him because of his kindness, humor, and ability to provide meaningful pep talks. With two sons to provide for and Shannon, who had stayed home to take care of her brother after a stroke, now needing to find work, they need time to determine what's next. These funds will assist with needs that other sources of aid might not fully cover.
