Sadly Dennis lost his battle on Sunday. Please continue to pray for his family. From Jennifer:
It is with profound sorrow and grief that I announce the passing of my beloved husband, Dennis, who departed peacefully on Sunday morning. His valiant battle against cancer was a testament to his remarkable strength and fortitude, as he defied the initial prognosis of six to eight months to live and fought courageously for two and a half years. While his absence has forever altered our lives, we take solace in knowing he is no longer in pain or suffering.
I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude for the love, support, and prayers you have showered us with over the past few months; your kindness and generosity mean the world to us.
A memorial service will be planned to celebrate the extraordinary life and love Dennis had.
Statement from Dennis:
Hello everyone. For my friends and family that don't already know, I've been battling stage 4 terminal colon cancer for 2 years. I was given 6 months to live and proceeded to make it 21 months with little to no symptoms by diet/lifestyle changes. My body was beginning to heal, my blood work went from a disaster to near normal. I worked and was leading a normal life. In July, the wheels came off and everything took a serious downturn. I've been placed in hospice care and am now realizing the repurcussions to my family of dying young. I am in awe of the outpouring of love and support from my family and friends. I appreciate any help for my wife and children. Thank you and God bless.
