Support Dennis Dahlke's Heart and Stroke Recovery

My name is Jen McGraw, and I am the daughter of Dennis and Julie Dahlke. On March 7th, my parents surprised me in Minnesota for my 40th birthday. On March 8th, my dad experienced chest pain and was taken to our local emergency room for evaluation. While there, they discovered he had suffered a heart attack and needed bypass surgery. On March 11th, he underwent a quadruple bypass that was ultimately successful.

While recovering, my dad experienced a complication with his heart rhythm and rate and had a pacemaker implanted on March 18th. During the early morning on March 19th, he had a stroke. Unfortunately, the stroke has caused numbness and paralysis on the left side of his body, and he will need extensive PT, OT, and speech therapy. The road will be long, but we know he will do amazing.

Anyone who knows my parents knows that they are very caring people and would give you the shirt off their back. Hopefully, we can help them out during this hard time.
