Hello kind donors. My name is Amy and I am setting up this for my Step Father, Dennis Rutherford, and mother, Donna Rutherford. My stepfather has not been able to work in 3 months. His short-term disability is running out and there are no extra funds to help with bills.

I’m asking for help today, and that’s not something that comes easy for our family.

My stepdad, Dennis, is what you’d call a gentle giant. He’s strong, quiet, and the kind of man who shows his love through everything he does. He’s spent his life working hard and taking care of the people around him—especially my mom, Donna Rutherford.

For the past 3 months, Dennis has been out of work due to severe nerve issues in his back. This isn’t just discomfort… it’s pain that has taken away his ability to work and provide the way he always has. And if you know him, you know how much that weighs on him.

He’s been on short-term disability, but that ends in just ONE week.

After that, there’s no steady income—just bills, groceries, and the stress of not knowing how they’re going to make it through.

Dennis would never ask for help himself. That’s exactly why I am.
