Dennis is my younger brother, and for 31 years he was married to Vicky, a woman with a beautiful smile and a kind heart. Together, they built a blended family, raising Vicky’s children and grandchildren in Marshall, Texas. When Vicky was diagnosed with cancer three years ago, Dennis made the selfless decision to leave his job and become her full-time caretaker. He stood by her side every step of the way, showing unwavering love and dedication.

Vicky fought her illness fearlessly, always finding ways to lift the spirits of those around her. She was known for singing “You Are My Sunshine” to brighten the days of her loved ones, even when she was facing her own challenges. Her warmth and kindness touched everyone she met, and her loss has left a deep void in our family.
