Support Denise's Journey to Mobility

Hi all, this is my mom, Denise. She is the kindest, sweetest person you will ever meet. For those of you that know her, you know that you will always find her baking her pastries, knitting hats and sweaters, reading, or with her family. For those of you that don’t know her, just picture someone like Ina Garten or Mrs. Clause. My mom has struggled with chronic health issues from an autoimmune disease for 30+ years now and unfortunately its hitting her hard. She has been in and out of hospitals for many years now but most recently she has been admitted for about 2 months. She has lost her ability to walk and is need for an electric wheelchair. We would really like our mom to be home by the holidays and enjoying family memories. Unfortunately, her insurance is unable to cover all of an electric wheelchair, and we are now asking for your help. She was an RN for many years and has always been a caregiver to others. I’m hoping we can be a caregiver for her now. Throughout all her health issues, she has always remained our loving mom full of hope and resilience. Any help would be greatly appreciated, and you would be getting a really cozy virtual hug from this lovely lady.
