Denise’s father is currently undergoing cancer treatment, which has made it impossible for him to continue working. As a self-employed individual, he does not have access to paid leave or disability benefits, so the loss of his income has placed a significant financial strain on the family. Denise’s grandmother is now the only source of income for their household, and the costs of daily living, medical needs, and other bills are quickly adding up.

The family is doing everything they can to stay afloat during this challenging time, but the burden is overwhelming.
