My name is Amanda. I am Denise’s daughter. Last month we noticed some odd behavior with my mom and after days of asking her to see a doctor, she was taken to the ER. We got the worst news, she has a 5.2cm mass on her frontal lobe. After removing the mass, we got the devastating news that she has Glioblastoma, a very aggressive brain cancer. After having the mass removed, she has physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy every week to try to help her regain some of what this cancer has taken from her. She will begin chemo and radiation on the 20th of October. She will be going 5 days a week for 6 weeks then will have a 4 week break and then restart the chemo. Those who are lucky enough to know my mom, know she would do and does anything for anyone. She gives to anyone in need, charities, or just the random person who she finds to be kind and wants to put a smile on their face. She is the true definition of an angel on earth. She has a very brutal road ahead of her and the last thing I want for her is to be worried about all her hospital bills adding up. If anyone would be able to donate, she would be so grateful for the help. If you can’t, please pray. She needs all she can possibly get.
