Support Denise While She Heals

Hi everyone! My name is Maddi Skeen and I am organizing this fundraiser oh behalf of my mother-in-law, Denise Cook.

Earlier this week, Denise was assaulted leaving a restaurant after watching the Alabama vs Michigan game. She sustained severe injuries to her head, leaving her with a concussion and visual impairment that has affected her ability to return to work and provide for herself for the next several weeks, possibly even months.

Since Denise does not have medical insurance and will be out of work for the foreseeable future, we are raising funds to help her pay for things like rent, utilities, groceries and medical bills while she heals.

We appreciate all of the support from our friends and family, and are extremely grateful for any donations you are willing and able to provide! I will continue updating this post as we have updates on her recovery.
