We, as Denise Cooper Marvian's childhood friends, are hoping to lighten the financial burden of one of our dearest friends as she faces Breast Cancer. Like anyone who has ever met her, we love her and have been wracked with heartache this last month as she has received something no one ever wants to get—a stage 4 cancer diagnosis.

We have repeatedly watched her get knocked down but persevere through challenges, from being a single mom and fighting her way through nursing school to the challenges of that time. To now, alongside her supportive, caring husband, braving a new business, he left his job to start just a few days before her diagnosis, before it became steady or taken off yet. To fulfill the dream of having a trucking company.

She has Health insurance, but even at that, she is already looking at a stack of medical bills, not including the time she will be off work to undergo aggressive Chemotherapy, Surgery, and Radiation.

We feel helpless and can do little to comfort the emotional worries as she tries to grapple with this while keeping a brave face for her daughters; we are hoping to lessen some of the stress financially by joining together and helping them with a small portion of what they are facing with medical expenses.

She has what it takes to beat this. Nobody has ever had a more impressive cheering section!
