Hello all,

I am creating this page on behalf of Dee Brume and am not sure who is or isn’t aware of Dee’s recent diagnosis. If you have not heard, she was recently diagnosed with Stage 4 breast cancer that has metastasized onto her liver.

She was totally shocked at the doctor's news (as we all were). Her whole world was literally turned upside down in one ER visit, due to the pain and discomfort she had going on at that time.

Dee has been out of work for the last month, and in and out of the hospital, due to the side effects of this horrible disease. She has started chemo but has had cancellations due to her low white blood counts. She has been receiving infusions to get her back on track. Fortunately, they worked last week because she had her 2nd chemo treatment on Friday!

She, unfortunately, does not have short/long-term disability through her employment. This is why we are rallying behind her to help with her bills: rent, car payments, etc. In the meantime, her honey-bunny, family, friends and others have been chipping in...until her social worker can get her the help she needs.

I know times are tough for all of us. It’s not the amount of the monetary value that is important; it is ANY amount that you can donate or help with at this time for OUR girl that is important! Also, please share this GFM page!

Please continue your positive thoughts, texts, calls, and prayers to/for her. She may be slow getting back to you, but she will eventually. Dee realizes and feels the love and support coming her way and is deeply appreciative.
