I'm reaching out to everyone today to ask family & friends to financially help my sister Denise due to her recent situation. If anyone knows her, they know she helps many people, including strangers, & asks for nothing in return. In this world, everyone knows you can't do everything by yourself, but she's too proud to reach out. She's the type to suffer in silence. Due to the recent disaster of the tornado that hit our county, she's undergoing serious financial hardship as many are. Many things on her property are damaged beyond repair. So we are reaching out to help cover some of the costs she wasn't prepared for.

This includes:

High insurance deductible

Chicken coop (chickens are ok as they survived)

Severe damage to the shed that was destroyed

Needs to replace chicken feed, straw & other chicken necessities.

She discovered car rental is not included in her insurance. She'll need a car for a length of time due to the storm damage & everyone is booked for repairs. She was told the car is damaged beyond repair (waiting on the claims adjuster's final decision). She hasn't been able to get to work as she's in line for a car rental but waiting for an available vehicle. She also found out they didn't put the gap insurance on her policy.

She's been depending on family & friends to get to places she needs to go like picking up dog meds, her meds, grocery store, etc.
