In August of 2024 Deni was diagnosed with Small Cell Lung Cancer that had metastasized to her Lymph nodes. After treatment her scans were clear. Then in February the cancer metastasized to her brain. The lesions were zapped with radiation. In late April, her pet scan showed it back in her lugs and in the right shoulder area. In June her brain MRI showed it in the brain again. Her pain level continues to increase. The next chemo that they want to start can only be done in hospital setting and is going to require weekly trips as well as stays overnight. The first 2 treatments she has to stay local for 48 hours after treatment to make sure there are no side effects. Continued prayers for her to beat this
