I’ve been out and living as a trans person for over 13 years, and the time has finally come to get top surgery. I can’t keep bruising my shoulders with binders - I want to breathe freely and recognize the person I see in the mirror.

Out of pocket cost for the surgery itself is projected at $4,900 and that doesn’t even include anesthesia - so with that, and lost wages for recovery, and all the accouterments ill need for caring for my incisions during recovery i’ve settled on a $5,000 goal for now. Anything beyond what I need will be redistributed to other top surgery funds ❤️
