Support Denara's Fight Against Metastatic Cancer

Dear friends, family, and community,

With heavy hearts we are reaching out to family, friends and kindhearted strangers in hope that we can come together to support, my daughter, Denara and her fight against Stage 3C metastatic adenocarcinoma.

In 2024, Denara was diagnosed with cancer and given around 50% survival rate (5-year survival rate), but we are fighting hard to increase those odds by doing surgery and an aggressive 2-year treatment plan.

So far treatment has included a radical hysterectomy to remove a large tumor, but microscopic cancer was still in her body because it had metastasized to the lymphatic system. She had a subsequent surgery to place a subcutaneous port. Now she has a 2 year treatment plan including chemo, radiation, and a 2-year infusion therapy recently approved by the FDA.

Because this will be a long journey with many challenges ahead, there is a financial strain of medical bills and hospital stays. We wanted to organize this fundraiser in an effort to take some of the financial strain off of her and her husband, Justin. Any contribution made will go to direct costs of treatment and care.

We are so deeply thankful for everyone’s support during this time. Ultimately we trust God through all of this & we have peace knowing He is with us no matter what. But most importantly, we lovingly ask for your prayers. Please pray for healing and ask others to do the same. We want God to be glorified and His will to be done no matter what. God has used Denara’s cancer for so many wonderful things and we thank him for that. Only God can take a devastating situation and cause wonderful glorious things to arise from it! And He has! We thank God that through this hard time we have been able to grow so much closer to Him. We continue to rely on Him through it all. He is proving Himself faithful time & time again. While we would never wish this upon anyone, we are so grateful for all of the good that God is doing through this!

We know that this journey is long, and there are still challenges ahead, but we are so grateful for each and every person who has contributed, whether financially, emotionally, or spiritually. Please know that every prayer, every donation, and every share is making a difference in Denara’s life.

We stay hopeful and optimistic because God is always with us, forever faithful and His plan is greater than our own.
