Gallbladder Nightmare!!!!

Demi had her gallbladder removed on October 18th, a typical in-and-out procedure in most cases. She had been sick a couple of weeks before, not sure what was wrong, but in so much pain. Demi has a high tolerance to pain, as most women do. However, this was more than she had ever experienced. After multiple x-rays and MRIs, she's had 4 major surgeries in less than 4 weeks. Three of those surgeries were to remove stuck gallstones. She had 2 different long-distance ambulance rides from Glenwood Springs, CO to Grand Junction, CO, and a medical flight from Grand Junction, CO to UCHealth Anschutz in Aurora, CO.

John has been by her side and watching after a 2 1/2-year-old daughter the whole time. That wasn't easy being self-employed, but family first!

This is going to be a prolonged recovery for Demi, including one more outpatient surgery. So many organs are upset and trying to reintroduce food to her body. She has multiple doctor's visits ahead of her that aren't across town as for many of us, as they live in a smaller area called Dotsero.

This journey has been long and exhausting for all involved. The Thatchers are asking for funds on her behalf to assist with medical bills and personal expenses while she is finally on the road to recovery. Any amount would be a true blessing for them and much appreciated.
