On July 4th a day of family fun turned tragic, my dear sister Jasmine experienced the unimaginable — her 15-year-old son, Demario Ivey's life was tragically cut short in a freak ATV accident. This devastating loss has left our family completely shattered.

Demario was such a blessing to our family, a loving son, a protective big brother, a stellar student, an amazing nephew, friend, and a star athlete. He was our sweet boy and brought so much joy to our family.

Jasmine is a devoted mother of six children who now faces the heavy burden of planning a funeral while trying to be strong for her other kids. More than anything, she needs time to grieve without the immediate pressure of returning to work.
