Support Delroy Stutzman's Fight Against Cancer

Donation protected
Hi, my name is Ron and I'm starting this fundraiser to help my lifelong friend Delroy Stutzman and his wife Liz with medical expenses, travel, and bills as he fights for his life battling esophageal cancer a second time. This time with a terminal diagnosis.

In September of 2023, Del was first diagnosed with esophageal cancer. He underwent surgery and chemotherapy. All scans were coming back clear, and things were looking good. Then, after a routine scan in August 2025, the doctor came in with the worst possible news. Del's cancer was not only back; it was stage IV terminal. They gave him 9-12 months.

Anyone who knows Del knows he would give you the shirt off his back even if he were freezing. He has proven this many times over. One time that stands out was during his first battle with cancer. Del went to a benefit for a person with cancer, won the 50/50, and donated it all back to them even though he had his own medical bills.

Del hasn't worked since shortly after the diagnosis. He has applied for social security disability, which could take at least 6 months if not longer. He recently had an accident involving his eye, which required 12 stitches in the eyeball itself. Being a truck driver, even if he could work with the cancer and treatments, this will take at least 6 months to heal. Hopefully, he will regain his sight.

Roswell told Del with chemotherapy he might get a few more months. Exploring all options, he heard of the City of Hope Cancer Hospital in Illinois. They have agreed to see him for a second opinion and options that are not available in New York State. This is the first glimmer of hope Del and Liz have been given since the dreadful day in August. He is supposed to go for a consultation soon, which again will cost money: airfare, hotel, food, and the consultation.

Del has worked all his life and is the main income of their house. Liz has to miss work to attend appointments and be his support. Any amount you can give will be greatly, greatly appreciated. It took an army to convince Del and Liz to allow us to do this for them. So please give if you can, pray, and share. Your support means the world to them. Thank you!!!
