My name is Chyna, on the morning of 2-25-25 me and my 14 month old daughter Delilah got in a car wreck on our way to Atlanta for her Auditory Verbal Therapy. Fortunately we were both fine, but the car I was driving was totaled. Being a stay at home mom with a child that has special needs (hearing impaired specifically) is very difficult with or without a vehicle. Constant visits to the ENT, audiologist, and the therapy sessions we go to every week are imperative for her to be able to learn how to listen and be able to communicate/learn language. So this has definitely set us back. Even with the little bit I have been saving, it still won’t be enough for a vehicle with reliable transportation. I would not be making this if I didn’t have her, but sadly we are at a point where we could use help from our community to make sure she has access to everything she needs to be successful in this stage. We would be more than grateful for any help.
