My name is Delilah Schmidt-Caraballo and I’m a member of the Lorena High School band. I’m thrilled to share that I’ve been selected to represent our school as a freshman in a special performance at Carnegie Hall in New York City this coming February. This opportunity allows me to perform along with some of the best fellow young musicians in the country, and learn from world-class directors and artists. I have been in band for three years as a flute player and plan to continue throughout high school, hoping to follow music in college as a future career.

This trip is both an educational and once-in-a-lifetime experience—but it also comes with travel, lodging, and participation costs totaling about $5,000.
