Help Support Delilah Acevedo in her Battle Against Stage 4 Cancer

Hello, my name is Delilah Acevedo and I am reaching out to share my story in hopes of receiving the support of kind-hearted individuals like you. I’ve recently been diagnosed and battling with stage 4 cancer. This diagnosis has turned my world upside down especially when my Doctor shared I have only 6 months to live.

This journey has been incredibly difficult, both physically and emotionally. As you can imagine, being faced with such a diagnosis has affected every aspect of my life. The treatments are intense and often take a toll on my body, but I am fighting with everything I have. The financial burden has been overwhelming, as the costs of medical treatments, medications, doctor visits, and hospital stays quickly add up. On top of that, I’ve had to take time off work and forced to retire early with hopes of receiving a disability pension to focus on my health, which has further strained my ability to cover these expenses as well as assist with the exorbitant rent increase of 57% that barely allows me to enjoy a simple movie ticket.

I’ve always believed in the power of community, and right now, I’m asking for help to get through this challenging time. The funds raised will go directly toward my medical bills, treatment costs, rent and any other financial challenges that arise during this battle.
