I am Martha’s friend, Delilah’s mom, and I’m reaching out to help raise money for sweet Delilah and her family.
On May 25, 2025, Delilah was diagnosed with leukemia — a day that was meant to be filled with laughter and celebration quickly turned into one of heartbreak and fear. Delilah had been so excited for her “ghost girl” birthday, but instead of celebrating surrounded by friends and family, she spent the day fighting through pain and exhaustion. Still, with all her strength, she made the effort to come out so everyone could sing Happy Birthday, make a wish, and blow out her candles — a moment that now holds so much meaning.
That night, after much worry and discussion, her parents rushed her to the ER. As they anxiously awaited test results, the doctor came in with news no parent should ever have to hear — their little girl had cancer. In an instant, their world turned upside down. Delilah was immediately transferred to Children’s Hospital, where she continues to receive treatment. Both of her parents have stopped working so they can be by her side every moment, learning, advocating, and caring for her through every difficult day.
This journey is long and uncertain, but Delilah and her family are facing it with courage, love, and faith. Still, the financial burdens — medical bills, gas, groceries, and everyday expenses — continue to pile up. They are deeply grateful for everyone who has prayed, reached out, and offered support.
Let’s come together to lift this beautiful family up — to help ease their load, show them they’re not alone, and keep Delilah in our hearts and prayers as she fights this brave fight.
