Help Me Save My Car, Calypso — My Reliable Companion

Hello everyone,

I’m scared, I need help, and honestly, I don’t know what else to do. I know the whole world is facing struggles right now and many people need assistance, but I have to ask for myself—and for my car, Calypso. She’s been with me through a lot, and I believe this will probably be my last car. I want to do everything I can to keep her running.

Right now, Calypso needs urgent repairs before anything else can be done. No one will even change the oil until the gas line issue is fixed. Thankfully, my trusted mechanic can help with the gas line, oil change, shifter (which is currently held together with wraps), and window motor—plus the labor involved.

In addition, I need two new tires and a wheel alignment. I’m happy to use any business you might have an account with.

Also repairs from last years accident were not finished because the insurance money wasn't enough. In the midst of all of this even my vacuum broke, adding to the challenges I’m facing.

On a positive note, I’ve overcome my fear of dentists and am committed to finally taking care of my health, with 6 total dental visits scheduled over many months. I also love the YMCA, where I’m working hard to lose weight, make friends, and improve my life, and I want to keep going.
