Support Dee's Post-Transplant Journey

Hey. Dee here. 40 years old with lots of life left to live. After 20 years of kidney disease caused by 33 years of diabetes and five years of dialysis to keep me alive , I have been given the gift of life. I have received a new kidney and a new pancreas! This has completely changed my life but has put a financial burden with additional medications to prevent organ rejection and many trips back and forth to Emory for checkups. I am still recovering and not yet able to work but the future is looking bright and I hope to be back in the workforce eventually. I’ve created this gofundme in hopes of raising some money to help with expenses. The great thing is the kidney foundation will match all donations up to $10k.
