Support Dee's Battle Against Breast Cancer

Dee has been my friend for over 20 years. She is kind, loving, and giving. Several weeks ago, she found out that she has breast cancer. This has been so hard on Dee because she has health issues with her back and neck. Dee's mother also had breast cancer, and the fear of going through what her mother endured is frightening.

Dee has been diagnosed with stage 1b cancer—estrogen and progesterone positive. Originally, they were going to do surgery to remove the tumor, but it has grown quite large since her diagnosis. So, the plan is to start a chemotherapy regimen to shrink the tumor and then do the surgery. Dee is a fighter, and she is determined to beat this and make a full recovery. During her treatment period, she will be unable to work, which means she is unable to contribute financially to the household expenses.
