I am excited to come to you today and announce that the Deer Park Little League Minors 8-10 Softball team has won the District Tournament and will be headed to Forest Virginia on July 3rd to represent District 7 in the State Championship Tournament. As one of the smaller leagues in our area, it has been many years since Deer Park has been this successful on the softball field. Our league could not operate without the support of the community, and we need their aid now more than ever. As expected, with this journey will come many expenses, such as food, travel, and lodging for these outstanding 13 girls and their families. We are seeking donations to aid in covering some of the expected expenses. Donations of any value are appreciated. These girls have worked extremely hard to get this far, and we Thank You for your consideration in supporting them.
